- あいづち【相鎚・相槌】(1)鍛冶(カジ)で， 師匠の打つ鎚に合わせて弟子が鎚を入れること。 あいのつち。 向かい鎚。(2)相手の話に調子を合わせてする応答。～を打・つ相手の話に合わせて受け答えの言葉をはさんだり， うなずいたりする。
